Agents run on credits. Your plan includes a monthly allocation; each piece of work draws from it; unused allocation does not roll over — every cycle starts fresh at your plan's amount.

This is deliberately boring, and boring is what you want from a meter. Two habits keep it that way. Know your big spenders: long documents and long back-and-forth conversations cost more than short tasks; a quick question costs little. Check before big jobs: glance at your balance before you point an agent at a hundred-page document, the way you would glance at your fuel gauge before a long drive.

There is no trap to avoid here. The meter is honest — your balance never overstates what you can spend — so the only skill is the glance.
